Work finally got underway on the new house on 6 May 2014 starting with earthworks for the new driveway down the northern boundary. The goal for completion, which we and our builder Neil Warden are working towards, is Christmas. But being naturally cynical and having had enough experience in building houses (this is our third), I’m not holding my breath. Contractually he’s got until February 2015 so we’ll see how we go.

Jeff's early 3D model of our new house. A few things have changed, like the pool, but essentially it looks the same.
